About Richard
Richard has worked within UK and Global pharmaceuticals for over 30 years in a variety of commercial, management, and leadership roles on both the client and the agency side. A natural and engaging leader, he always strives to ensure that clients receive the best fit of skills, experience, and style to match their needs from the diverse talent pool within CMC Affinity. Richard’s extensive experience spans pre-launch and launch brands both globally and domestically in the UK. He excels in challenging pre-launch market understanding and planning assumptions, paving the way for stronger insights and more impactful strategic and tactical plans. With his ability to see through the detail and to ask the right questions at the right time, Richard helps ensure that all CMC Affinity teams deliver great outcomes for their clients, no matter what the brief.
About Donna
Donna oversees the Client Services team at CMC Affinity, fueled by a passion for ensuring our teams not only meet but exceed client expectations. With over two decades of medical communications experience, she works closely with all agency functions to ensure high-quality materials are delivered to our clients, taking pride in the long-lasting client partnerships forged along the way. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree from Villanova University, Donna was drawn to agency life and the diverse avenues it offers for communicating medical and scientific data in meaningful ways to varied audiences. She loves working with clients and thrives on discussing and delivering continued innovative solutions within our field.
About Jane
Jane has over 25 years of experience in the pharma industry on both the agency and the client side. Jane is passionate about providing omnichannel communication strategies and innovative solutions and educational programs for our clients. Jane takes immense pride in building long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring that projects are delivered in the right channels and the right platforms, with measurable results. Jane supports and mentors our CMC Affinity teams to develop our digital leaders of the future.
About Mary
Mary is a passionate scientist, communicator, and people manager. In her role as Head of Medical Services for CMC Affinity, she prioritizes supporting the team to strive for the highest-quality, meaningful content that delights clients and engages audiences impactfully. It is the blend of cutting-edge medical science and commercial insight, the need to consecutively spin multiple plates, and the pride in seeing her team succeed, which mean Mary is still in love with medical communications after 22 years. An expert in multiple therapy areas, Mary’s particular areas of interest are oncology and neuroscience. Her PhD in multiple sclerosis from Imperial College London has been followed by two decades of work within the agency on Alzheimer’s Disease, surely the medical challenge of the 21st century. Mary is also an involved member of ISMPP, having facilitated meeting sessions, authored research, and served on committees. She has held the CMPP qualification for more than 10 years.
About Melissa
Melissa provides effective leadership across a portfolio of accounts, supporting our clients with proactive and innovative solutions, strategic guidance, and tactical expertise, tailored to meet their objectives. She is an experienced Client Service Lead with a healthy obsession supporting her account teams to deliver their best work, while promoting and demonstrating best practice and operational efficiency. Melissa has over 25 years of experience working in medical communications at leading healthcare agencies, with broad experience across several therapy areas and has a passion for establishing and nurturing long-standing client partnerships.
About Ann
After completing her PhD and almost three years of post-doctoral research, Ann made the move into medical communications in 2003 and was one of the founding members of our Glasgow office. During her day-to-day role, Ann provides senior account leadership and high-level scientific support to several account teams. This includes client delivery, the development and sharing of best practice, solving operational challenges including resourcing, and coaching and mentoring. Ann is passionate about our people, and finding new ways to evolve and enhance the culture of CMC Affinity is at the heart of everything she does. Outside of CMC Affinity, Ann has had an active role in ISMPP since 2018 and is a mentor for the Social Mobility Foundation.

Chris is responsible for helping our teams and our clients stay at the forefront of medical communications, working in harmony to create innovative and impactful solutions to overcome the challenges they face. With over 20 years in the pharmaceutical and medical communications sector, his wealth of experience is complemented by his passion for people and science, fuelling his desire to make the extraordinary possible in medical communications.
